But I want the sweet taste of sediment, bacteria, and cigarette butts in my liver.
By the way, did you go to any national parks while you were there? I know you did the temple circuit and stuff, and I definitely want to see that too but...mostly in it for the green and the aminals. And maybe the food, if that's safe to eat. And seriously, what did you drink while you were there?
Hell, if I remember-- drank anything out of a can, and whatever seemed from a safe source. But you can never be too safe. And you can never get enough fluids; dehydration is sadfaces all around, and something to look out for in the sweltering tropical south. Ha, I inhaled sugar cane juice and fresh fruit like a retard.
Food is tasty and delicious, especially Hanoi with the northern specialties. Markets are wonderful, sometimes tourist trapped; indulge all your fresh fruit fetishes, you're never going to get better.
Can't, sadly, lend a hand with the wildlife-- was with the parentals, and they were family visits >> jungle tramping. Let me know what you dig up, though, I really want to do that on my next visit!
Also, ever since you posted "Dead Fantasy 2," I've been entertaining plans to escape into the jungle and train to be a kung fu master. Probably because I also watched "Kung Fu Hustle" recently, but I still thank you for the additional classroom daydreams. I was getting bored of thinking about what it'd be like to be a polar bear.
