He had done the tour. But it was smaller than the one he had done with the Wreckers, and Haley. He liked the big arenas, but this time it was the Chris Keller Show. And he liked the smaller area. Chris gave his award-winning smile, white teeth flashing as she leaned against the door frame and looked down at Brooke.

"Well, I was about to say the same thing."

He didn't move to come in, but when Brooke didn't move either, he raised a brow.

"Are you gonna let me in, or make me stand outside all night?"

She moved aside and he slid into the apartment, looking around with a smile on his lips.

"Changed it around a little, I see. Not so much...stuff." Then it dawned on him. The guitar, all things Haley were now missing. He turned and looked at Brooke. "Scared her off, did you? Well, that's okay. More alone time for us."

Brooke smiled the same fake smile she gave Rachel daily.

"I didn't scare her off. She moved in with her husband." She examened him. Trying to find something negative to say. He smiled at her. She wanted to say something horrible to him but, she couldn't think of anything to say. Instead, a thought of how pretty his eyes were popped into her head. She paused, why was she thinking about how pretty Chris Keller's eyes were?

Her thoughts moved on to Lucas. What would Lucas think if he saw Chris Keller here, now, in her apartment once again. Not now, not when they had just gotten back to being friends.

"Chris, Why are you here?" She looked at him just as she had on that night long ago when he stopped by her door for the fantasy boy draft. He simply smiled.

He "fell" down onto the sofa, stretching his arms over the back of the couch and smiled as he watched Brooke. "I had a break from tour and I figured I'd come back and see my favorite clothing designer."

He looked around the room for a moment before crossing one of his legs and looking back to Brooke.

"I saw your website. Pretty wicked. Why'd you take it down."

His smile faded slightly and he stared at her for a long moment. "You can sit by me, Chris Keller doesn't bite."

She looked at him for a second, sitting on her couch in her apartment. Acting like he owned the place. Like he had a right to be there.

"Look, we both know you're not here to talk about my website so why don't you just tell me why you are here, so you can leave." She left angry and confused. How could he just show up there again? After everything that happened.

She knew she had to make him to leave. What if Lucas or Haley, or anyone for that matter found out Chris Keller had stopped by to pay her a visit? What if they knew she had just let him stay there, sitting on her couch while she thought about how pretty his eyes were or how that his hair looked perfect? She couldn't risk anyone knowing. He had to leave, even if she was starting to have doubts over if she really did want him out of her life.
