AIM RP Thread// Chris & Haley: Maybe he likes her more than a friend
kellers not done: Chris entered the hospital looking and quickly found Haley's room. He knocked on the door gently.
JustHaley23: Haley had been sleeping for a few minutes into her nap. She heard a slight knock and opened her eyes to see Chris standing in the window. She nodded, giving him the signal to come in.
kellers not done: He smiled. "Still locked up here, huh?"
JustHaley23: Haley couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, just like a girl in a plastic bubble." She chuckled a little bit. "It was about time you came to see me."
kellers not done: "So you missed me? It was only a matter of time.." He sat down in a chair near her.
JustHaley23: Haley rolled her eyes at his arrogance. "Oh, yes I missed you like crazy, Chris Keller" She said with a bit of sarcasm in her tone.
kellers not done: "So how's Nate? How's the kid?"
JustHaley23: "Nathan's fine. He's down at the gift shop, probably trying to buy everything in stock." Haley then smiled when he brought up their baby. "He's fine, Chris. The baby is...he's healthy and perfect." She gleamed.
kellers not done: "He?" he cocked an eyebrow.
JustHaley23: "Yeah... the baby..the baby's a boy. A little baby boy" She smiled at him, gracefully.
kellers not done: "Damn, Hales. That's so crazy..and extremely unfortunate for me" he laughed a little
JustHaley23: Haley laughed. "Unfortunate? How is that unfortunate for you, Chris?"
kellers not done: "Another Scott boy to kick my ass..great." He joked.
JustHaley23: Haley laughed again. "I'm sure if you don't give him a reason to, he won't kick your ass. Unlike Nathan" She joked
kellers not done: "Yeah, yeah. So how long till you're out of this place?"
JustHaley23: " A couple of weeks, hopefully. But there still is physical therepy and all" She responded, patting the bed. "Come sit down" She offered.
kellers not done: He went over and sat. "So you're like, mostly better?"
JustHaley23: "yes, I'm like.. mostly better" She mocked him
jokingly. "Hopefully, I should be back to normal soon"
kellers not done: "That's great, Hales. And Lucas?"
JustHaley23: She lowered her head a bit. "I-I don't know. I haven't been able to see him. "
kellers not done: He nodded. "I'm sure he's fine."
JustHaley23: "Yeah, He's a strong guy.. he'll make it" She said with hope. Suddenly she remembered the last time Chris had visited her. It was kind of blurry, but she remembered something that happend. SHe stayed silent for a moment.
kellers not done: "Yeah. So uh.. must of been some Christmas, here."
JustHaley23: She snapped out of her silence and looked over at him. "Um..yeah I guess you could say that. Christmas in a hospital. It's been fun" She let out a fake chuckle.
kellers not done: "Mm seems like it'd be a real party," he joked.
JustHaley23: "OH yeah..definately" She joked back kind of laughing. She thought for a few moments then looked at him. "Chris, can I ask you something..and you'll be complete honest with me?"
kellers not done: He was thrown off by her sudden seriousness. "Okay, yeah."
JustHaley23: "Last time you came to see me..was right after the accident happend. I don't remember much...but I do.. remember something..something you did.." She took a breath and asked him while looking into his eyes. "Did you...kiss me Chris?" She asked, softly.
kellers not done: He looked at her for what seemed like a really long time. "No," he answered in an almost whisper. He eventually shook his head.
JustHaley23: Haley placed a hand on his and squeezed it. "I need you to tell me the truth, Chris" She said with kindness in her eyes.
kellers not done: "I didn't kiss you, Hales. You know I wouldn't have done that to you..not again." he tried to lighten the mood. "How many drugs were you on anyways?"
JustHaley23: Haley lowered her eyes and let go of his hand, knowing he wasn't being honest. She was disappointed that he didn' tell her the truth. She wouldn't of yelled at him, she wouldn't have told him to leave, she would of just talked to him. "Apparently enough to hallucinate a kiss.." SHe said quietly.
kellers not done: "Don't be like that, Haley. I thought you were like, on the verge of death or something.."
JustHaley23: Haley looked up at hi,. "So you admit you did?" She asked, not angry.
kellers not done: A small smile appeared on the very edges of his lips. "I might've"
JustHaley23: Haley smiled a little. "Did it mean anything?" She asked curiously.
kellers not done: "Nah" his body relaxed a little. "Just figured some one oughta kiss you before you bit the dust."
JustHaley23: Haley laughed a little. "Thanks, Chris." She smirked then looked at him again. "It's okay..if it did." She said after a moment of silence.
kellers not done: "Now I know cheerleaders like to talk a lot. But can we keep this between us?"
JustHaley23: Haley nodded. "Of course, Chris. Your word is safe with me. Promise" She said sincerely.
kellers not done: "Can I ask you a question?"
JustHaley23: "Sure, what is it?" She asked, seeing his seriousness.
kellers not done: "What's your oppinion of Rachel?"
JustHaley23: Haley shrugged a little. "She has her good moments and her bad ones, I guess. I mean, when she wants to be a bitch, she will be, when she wants something or someone.." She emphasized on someone. "..she'll do everything in her power to get it or them. But I guess she has a nice side to her..unless it's just an act.." She responded.
kellers not done: He nodded. "So we've been seeing each other lately, right? But the other day she kind of went all crazy girl on me..it was weird."
JustHaley23: "crazy girl? how so, Chris?" She asked.
kellers not done: "She just got all complicated. Like she says shes fine with keeping it casual but then goes off on how she wants us to be together."
JustHaley23: Haley sighed knowing this was going to happen. "I tried to tell her that you're not the settling down type and you don' really believe in relationships..I told her it wouldn't work out and someone would end up getting hurt and it seems like it's starting.." She says rambling a bit.
kellers not done: "Wait. She talked to you about us?"
JustHaley23: She nodded slowly at first. "Sort of.. I mean she asked for advice and asked how you were..." She replied feeling like she was going to be in the middle of all this.
kellers not done: He laughed a little. "That must have been insanely awkward for you."
JustHaley23: "Actually, to tell you the truth, it wasn't. I aws being honest when I told her you were a good guy at heart" She smiled.
kellers not done: "Of course. All the ladies talking about how amazing I am. I should have figured."
JustHaley23: "Chris, you're being arrogant again" She chuckled.
kellers not done: He shrugged. "It happens"
JustHaley23: "I guess, with you it does" She joked and laughed a bit. "So..do you.like Rachel? Like that.. I mean?" She asked curiously
kellers not done: He shrugged, "She's fun. But I'm not the boyfriend type. I don't think she gets that.."
JustHaley23: "You need to be honest with her and tell her that. Don't lead her on. She'll think it's serious and as much as I don't like her, I don't want to see her get hurt. nobody deserves that, Chris." She told him. "You may not be the boyfriend type now, but maybe you'll find that one girl you'll fall in love with and then you might change your mind." She smiled squeezing his hand once again.
kellers not done: He laughed. "Nah, Chris Keller doesn't settle. Chris Keller actually perfers groupie sex." He joked.
JustHaley23: Haley laughed a little then looked him in the eye to make him see she was right. "Just think about it, Chris. Wasn't there ever one girl you wish you could of been with?" She asked
kellers not done: "What good does that do you. Dwelling on what could have been. Leave it. Write a song about it. Find someone new."
kellers not done: He thought a lot about what Haley was saying but tried to brush it off.
JustHaley23: Haley shook her head and chuckled. "That's you, Chris. Always trying to to shove off a subject"
kellers not done: "Like I said. Why dwell."
JustHaley23: "Who ever said about dwelling? but speaking of it, sometimes it's not bad to dwell on the past or of what could of been. If the memories were good, why shove them away?" She said becoming wiser.
kellers not done: "Spoken like a true song writer" he smiled.
JustHaley23: "See? exactly what I'm saying. Music. That's apart of you, it's apart of me...it's was what brought us together.." She said honestly.
kellers not done: He nodded. "Life's nothing without good music"
JustHaley23: "True, you're right there. But I know you think about it. The past with our music. You're not the only one, Chris." SHe said trying to make him open up to her.
JustHaley23: "That's something you dwell on. What would it be like if I stayed on tour, if you and I became big stars.." She smiled at him warmly. "I know you do.."
kellers not done: "Yeah, how rich we could be by now. How many autographs I'd be signing.."
kellers not done: "But hey, at least we're not sell outs, right?"
JustHaley23: She smiled and nodded. "Right. What made you come back, Chris? I mean, I'm just curious..sort of.. I mean you were having a good life, on tour, making money, doing what you love..and yet you came back to Tree Hill. Why?" She asked with seriousness in her eyes.
kellers not done: "I guess my work here just wasn't done"
JustHaley23: "Your work?" SHe chuckled softly. "And what work would that be?" She still had a held on his hand.
kellers not done: "There were more high school girls to corrupt"
JustHaley23: Haley burst out laughing. "Oh yes, Chris. You came back to Tree Hill to have sex.. am I right?" She laughed, eyes twinkling a bit.
kellers not done: He laughed too, "I figured I owed it to the girls"
JustHaley23: "I'm sure they'd be thrilled" SHe said finally letting go of his hand but leaving it close to his.
kellers not done: "Of course. Chris Keller is a great lover" he winked.
JustHaley23: Haley hit him playfully on the arm. "Well, I wouldn't know that now, would I?"
kellers not done: "And that's why it sucks to be you" he joked
JustHaley23: "oh yeah, it really does. I'm such a loser and shit ouf of luck" SHe overdramatically spoke then laughing putting a hand up on her forehead.
kellers not done: He nodded. "Yeah that's how most girls feel when they've missed out on Chris Keller."
JustHaley23: "Haha yeah.. okay" She rolled her eyes.
kellers not done: He looked up at the clock. "Well I've got a gig in a club in Charlotte tonight, so I should take off."
JustHaley23: "So soon?" She asked quickly then reddened in the face. "I mean..um.. okay." She nodded a little. Watching him.
kellers not done: He smiled and stood. "I'll visit you again soon" He leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Bye, Hales."
JustHaley23: She couldn't help but smile at his kiss. "You better, Keller." She watched him go to the door. "Bye Chris"
