The night before had been wonderful, no spectacular, no wait, words couldn't even desribe how wonderful Halloween night was for Haley. Needing to get out of the house before Rachel drove her up the wall, Brooke decided a walk would do her wonders. While walking past Peyton's, she noticed the window shattered and crime tape blocking the door way.
Wondering what went on, she phone went off making her jump. Taking it out she saw Hales flash upon the screen. Flicking it open she put it to her ear. "Hey you," she said into the reciever and continued walking up the street.

"Hey! Where have you been all day? I've been looking around for you in school." Haley responded, glad that she finally got ahold of her. Haley was fumbling around in the bedroom trying to put some stuff together.

"Stayed home today. Wasn't feeling the best this morning." Brooke hated lying to her best friend but telling her she was hungover was definatley out of the question. "Anything interesting happen today?" She was referring to anything related to Lucas or Peyton and hoped Haley caught on to this.

"ehh, not really. I haven't really talked to anyone lately." She responded. "Hey, have you heard about what went on with Peyton at her house? Everyone's talking about it and I have no clue what's going on" She asked throwing some clothes on the bed.
