As for Chuck.

My ideas, he's the nerdy sort who spends most his time scribbling in a notebook and is all adorable but can not talk to girls at all and probably blushes a lot whilst fumbling his words. And is terrified of the 'popular' kids.

He probably sees the library as his safe place. But maybe to link him into everyone else he could write the school plays or something like that.
