You know that feeling you get when you're just so full of love and joy that you can't hold it all, and you can feel it in your chest, and it hurts and you can't tell whether your heart is exploding or imploding but regardless, it's about to do something drastic? That pure high of ecstasy and passion and beautiful pain?
It was kind of like that.
