Be a Charlotte Bronte girl!! I'm reading Villette and the main character is one of the most interesting I've ever run across. She's rather feisty and snarky, but she's prone to serious bouts of depression and gloom which she needs people to pull her out of periodically. And yet, she plows ahead and takes joy out of little things making snide comments all along the way. Charlotte Bronte wrote the most interesting victorian characters ever. Even SHOCKING characters. :D
