This isn't a novel and even though there are snippets of Jane Austen's stories in it, this book is basically non-fiction. However, it still was one of my reads and I actually enjoyed it quite a lot.

I do love a good Science Fiction film and this was one of them. I'm a bit picky about Time Loop stories, because they can easily get annoying or frustrating since they are bound to be based on repetition, yet here they solved it well, in my opinion. I've seen this film twice now and I still can't quite tell where this X-Men tale stands in relation to the last Wolverine film. It should be happening some time afterwards, but it could also be in a whole different universe. It's always an odd feeling to read the last book of a series, especially one that you've followed for a long time and of which the characters have become important to you, like old friends. Honestly, I hardly ever have seen a film that was so over the top in every aspect: facial expressions, costumes, special effects, music, number of bad guys, details, inner and outer conflicts, etc.. I think I'm outgrowing the coming-of-age stories. As interesting as it may be to follow the development of a young character to a strong hero, I just don't care very much for their adolescent problems of leaving their parents, first love or finding your their own place in the world.
