Had I vast reserves of cash, I would spend them all at http://www.anthropologie.com, but I doubt you're looking for a triple-digit item. http://www.amazon.com has a startlingly large selection.

thanks for the links! yes, anthropologie looks gorgeous but well out of my budget. :) i'm surprised by amazon's selection too. it turns out that they don't ship clothes/accessories to Canada, though. ah well, i'd rather support an indie business anyway.

one of those over-the-shoulder type bags, with one thick strap. i think they're called that because they were first used by bike couriers (messengers).
