Hi. I'm alive. I am currently working at the Peace and Reconciliation Group in Derry, editing an entry-level book about mediation. It is fairly interesting, and the people are very nice. I have never had a 9-5 job before, and it is rather exciting! Everyone from Earlham seems to be settling in very well. Classes start next Monday. I am proud

Most people would have said "thanks" and walked away. I mean, do you think you should have handed him your wallet? Maybe you should have written him a check for a few hundred. Honsetly, I don't think he was insulted because your offer was so small. Man, next time you drop a coin, I am going to scramble to pick it up, and then you are going to have to pay up big time. I'm talking thousands.
