According to the most recent update of the National Wearher Service winter storm warning, we're gonna get hammered. 12-16" of snow now, very high winds, severe wind chill, and dire warning that people should have alterante heat sources available

Any chance you and yours'll find someplace close to civilization to ride out the Snowlocaust? There's plenty of room at Mom's place, and it's kid-proofed.

We'll be fine. The roads get better plowed out here than they do in most of the city, and we're prepped. We've got plenty of food that's easy to fix or reheat over a campstove, plenty of fuel for said campstove, and neighbors close by with a good fireplace if we really need it.

Actually, the biggest thing we're worried about is keeping the kids entertained if the power goes out.
