We tried to get out earlier than usual. We discovered that our gps didn’t have maps for Germany so we tried to follow the Google map directions out of the gate. Bad choice. Today were headed out the Belgium. Dan’s family on his dad’s side is from there and we knew the town they originated from. They originated from Sint Niklaas just west of Antwerp. Dan got everyone started this morning and even gave Cat and Ben sink baths. I am feeling a bit better. Oma called to let me know that their time changed happened last night so we lost another hour. Thankfully by the time we left my tummy had settled down and Dan took another dose of medication to keep his cold down.

We got our baggage with slight confusion. One seat was with the regular baggage and we were waiting for the rest to come out but they were at the odd sized baggage claim which thankfully I had the idea to check after a while. Had an easy morning get ready since most of the packing was done on Tuesday. Just had to do a final check and get together the kids monkeys and our toiletries. Soon our house will go up for sale. It has been a long wait and struggle. My husband doesn't want to move. He would rather stay put. I don't like the process of moving either. Having to have a super clean house, letting people go through, moving etc. Though the benefit of having a larger house, better school, better mortgage payments. I have ( Read more... ) -

Hair
Since last year I have been growing out my hair. Not with a specific purpose but I tend to have a drastic grow/cut it short cycle with my hair. I haven't had it this long probably since jsut after I got married 5 years ago. I can put two ponytails in now and it stays! At least it helps while the summer weather is around.
