No, seriously.

YES I DID BUT WHEN I WENT TO SEND ONE FOR YOU I MISTAKENLY FORGOT THE WHOLE 'CHECKOUT' BUTTON, AND IT STAYED UP THEIR A FEW DAYS. WHEN I TRIED SENDING THEM LATER - THE 1 ITEM IN CHECKOUT BUTTON CALLED TO ME - THEY WERE EXPIRED OR SOMETHING. I WAS SAD. I WAS VERY WITTY IN MY REPLY.

Tom Holland: The Vampyre: Being the True Pilgrimage of George Gordon, Sixth Lord Byron

Josephine Tey: The Daughter of Time

Stephen Fry: The Liar

Three completely different books...

Thank you. Those are great ideas, and since I'm now out of books in my To Read pile, I'll give a look at those. Holland's sounds good.

I can't help it that I'm entirely awesome. Plus, I go through libraries like a tornado.

Don't forget the lastest House of Night book came out.

I love that Series (although the grammer is horrible sometimes) and Kim Harrisons the Hallows, I agree Pierce appeared out of nowhere and is annoying.

Have you read any of the series by Richelle Mead? I adore her She has three series, Vampire Academy, Georgina Kincaid, and The Dark Swan.

Let me know what you end up thinking of them if you check them out :)

I agree on both points. Plus, lead girl (I've already forgotten her name) can get so damn annoying sometimes. Plus, I think she's part succubus or something. And I'm not a huge fan of infidelity (especially when it's not really very well explained-I mean, seriously? That sit came out of nowhere.) I still haven't gotten past the halfway point of Hunted.

Pierce is just. Not ugh but ugh. Y'know? Plus, okay hear me out. I started out reading my mom's Nora Roberts and other romances (smutty, smutty, filthy crap) when I was thirteen. I'm almost twenty now and I think I've generally got the romance plot down. There's a woman. There's a problem. Then there's the man, who is totally an asshole and possibly a criminal (if the lead is a detective.) The woman and man bat at each other for the whole book until, like, either right before the serial killer gets her, or right before the end of the book where it's shown he's the male equivalent of a stripper with a heart of gold. It always goes that way. (Except when it doesn't ( ... )

YAY a fellow lover! I just picked up the first book last night and I devoured it lol I finished the second one today and now im counting down the days.

Now pairing wise who do you root for? I really liked Gale but Peeta is just too sweet I can't help but cling to the hope he'll make it.

The story breaks my heart though theres so much darkness in their world and so little light.

Obviously nothing compares to it but what other stories/series are in the same type of realm that really stand out to you?

I read Hunger Games in one night, too. I opened it to skim at the table, and ended up staying there all night! lol.

I liked Gale in the first book, but Peeta in Catching Fire... I just wanted him. He's so resourceful, and smart, and he really complements Katniss in ways that Gale doesn't. Plus, Gale was a total douche in CF, but then again I could see he had a reason for it - that's what I love about Suzanne Collins. She makes distinctive, complex, multi-layered characters with motives and misplaced anger and horribly bad decisions. /ramble.

I'm so ready to cry with Mockingjay, though. You're right. Hope is very, very slim.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth was good, but not great. I mean, YAY ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, but it didn't really hit me like I wanted it to. It's more literary/horror than adventure/horror, and that threw me. BUT it is good, and the ending makes up for it, even if it does feel like a strange dream to me (all literary fiction feels like a strange dream to me when I'm finished with it.)

The Uglies series is incredibly ( ... )
