Indeed. This prompts us all to delve into introspection and journey on a quest for self-illumination of our true inner alcholic. Perhaps the word "Alcholic" is a bit too... hmmmm... say we say.... RESTRICTIVE. People with addictive personalities can become phsychologically attatched to most anything, really. Chocolate. A Chocoholic. Sex. A Sexoholic. But... our questions lead to more questions and far fewer answers than desired. A query of alcoholic on such a site as www.thesaurus.com reveals a bevy of wonderful synonyms we don't use nearly enough. We shall call him a boozehound (reminds me of a great Simpsons episode), or a carouser (I like to say this one like a gay pirate. try it!), or the dipsomaniac (oooh, maniac, another GREAT suffix). But a similar query into a similar engine on a comparable website on SEXAHOLIC. Drumroll please. Reveals nothing. No spelling suggestions were found. No entry was found in the thesaurus. But it does ask you a very interesting question. A question perhaps capable of wrapping up this ( ... )
