I've moved into my new apartment. For the first few days my cats weren't eating or pooing. This bothered me as I wanted to make sure they pooed in the litterbox rather than a corner. They have done so! While they still aren't accustomed to the new apartment they are pooing and eating normally which gives me a good bit of relief ( Read more... )

A co-worker started a conversation with "Hey Edwin, when you were my age did you ever..." I reminded him that I'm not that much older than him (he's 24) before answering his question. It was just a bit of a shock. I'm guess I've crossed into the land of  "When I was your age..." and "Get OFF my lawn!"

Because of financial issues that started last fall, I've been cutting back on expenses as much as possible. This includes heat. I've had my heat turned off (except for evenings with Kimbyrle) for quite a while. Normally the apartment doesn't drop below 60 unless it's really cold out. Until this morning, the record low was 57. Kimbyrle and I went out to dinner and a movie this week.

We saw Bucket List (I think). The movie was absolutely and positively wonderful. Thanks for suggesting it Kimbyrle! I think pretty much anyone I know should see it. It's not a comedy or action flick, but it's a powerful movie in a good way.

I have a important person's birthday coming up soon. I ordered her present the middle of last week. The website said "in stock" beneath the item ( Read more... )
