The meaning of "in stock"

I have a important person's birthday coming up soon. I ordered her present the middle of last week. The website said "in stock" beneath the item

Well, y'know, if it was me for example, I think I would probably recognize that birthdays aren't really as much of a big deal after you turn, oh, 21 or so, and that it's really cool that anybody's giving you presents at all, and kinda silly to be upset if they don't arrive on your actual birthday.

I know which important person you're talking about, so I hope the present doesn't arrive too late. I'm sure she won't mind the lateness, but the sooner the better, right? I hope she likes whatever you get her. :3
