So, I am 99.9% certain that a move to Oregon will be possible within the later of the coming months. In the interest of intelligent planning, however, I have expanded my search parameters to include other viable possibilities, as well. Freedom is actually pretty sweet! ^_ ( Read more... )

Portland, Maine is really the best place to find a job in Maine, though Bangor's up there too (though way too far north, yech). Plus, it's where I live ^^

You'd have to deal with living in a different Portland, though, and when I go auditioning for grad schools (and Portland, Oregon is one of my stops), who will I stay with and hang out with?! =D

Out of nothing short of pure selfish preference, I choose SkeeTown (after all, it is THE town). The jobs situation is interesting here, and by interesting I mean terribly limiting. However, we have a gorgeous lake, great summer weather, and hilarious good times.

And it has crossed my mind. Only thing is, going back home is the equivalent of admitting defeat.

No sir. I remember very well what it was like being in Michigan - always wanting to see what life was like on the outside, feeling claustrophobic and bored, especially since I was always the one who had to initiate anything if people were going to hang out...it was just lame.

Lame lame lame. The good times were good, but it was not very often that ol' Tom would be included in the fun unless he reminded them.

I miss you guys, but the whole area was a horrible, static vacuum, and the West always called to me.
