Wow, two posts in a day!!!

I was walking to the library today and I passed by some blue and purple orchids infront of the fence of the Govenor's Mansion. Naturally(LOL), the orchids made me think of roses which are the symbol for Thomasville, the City of Roses. And, thinking of Thomasville made me think of Thomasville High School, my Alma Mater, and thinking about my Alma

normally I would applaud your in depth lyric analysis, but in this case I can't. I really don't think drunken Mr. Fleetwood had all that in mind when he wrote the song. Hey, did he write it when THS was still at MPMS? Because then the first line could be true. They have roses I believe. But I think he wrote it in the 80s, so maybe it is just a metaphor, or maybe he wanted to fit as much T-ville nostalgia in one song as possible.
