if I had that many issues on my machine, I would give up and reformat happily. I just couldn't be bothered doing what you did, but the fact that you not only did, but did it successfully and wound up with a better install than you had before is very impressive ( ... )

well what i did was simple really. the uninstall had screwed with my drivers and system32 in general, so all i did was to find the originals and reload them. note, the install i had wasn't made for this laptop, it was a general image put on with ... oh what's that program again? a full hd image that is partitioned and all, followed by a few quicky online searches for drivers to at least make it look like it was done properly.
I suspect if i'd had a genuine install it may not have broken royally the way it did when I tampered. your problems are, well, not knowing what the cause of them is makes it dificult to fix.

all i'll say about blogging is that with the return to form of others, i could not be left behind, in fact i feel like my whole social existence is going through a renaissance period, which is also quite regressive in many ways.
