Action! Suspense! People Falling From Things!

That's what the little voice in the back of her head kept saying. The one that she kept telling to shut up every hundred or so feet. Jackie was crawling through yet another jeffries tube in her quest to find something they hadn't found yet: a way out.
She'd probably be 100 years old before she even explored all the in's and out's of this starbase.
There it was again, would you just shut up already?
Anyway, this jeffries tube was a bit wider than the others and was on a 45 degree slant as she was climbing up. She was almost at the end and it looked like there was a sort of seal on the end of it. That was different. Different was good, there was too much of "the same old same old" here.
Jackie climbed up eagerly to read the wording on the door. GNDN engineering section 10-alpha...that was entirely unhelpful.
She sighed in frustration, settling back against the curved surface wall behind her...when her foot slipped. Her arm reached out to stop herself from sliding down the length of the jeffries tube and accidentally caught a nearby lever. The section beneath her gave way suddenly, revealing a trap door and Jackie fell through with a yelp.
Her hands somehow found a pipe in her descent, stopping her fall abruptly. "Oh this is bad..." Jackie gasped, trying to keep her grip on the transverse pipe near the ceiling. Beneath her was all of Engineering...a long...longggg way down.
"...help?! Anyone?!!"
