Challenge 278: Star Trek Gold Key Comics
This week, we will have an image challenge. Our focus will be the Classic Star Trek Gold Key Comics from the 1960s and 70s.
For this challenge, you may use cover AND/OR comic strip images from the GOLD KEY comics ONLY. To keep it fair, we will ALL use the following resources for images: Curt Danhauser’s Guide to Star Trek Gold Keys Comics or Star Trek Comics Checklist.
In Curt Danhauser’s site, he lists every comic with a summary, scan of the cover, and selected scans of comic panels. The Comic Checklist provides full page scans from the comics, and some b&w panels for variety. These are the most varied resource I could locate, and it will allow for a variety of icon opportunities!
Remember - you CAN blend images, provided they are only from these sites and of the Gold Key Trek comics. You can always animate or add text as well. And don’t forget to credit these sites when you use or post your icons after the challenge!
