Well, technically we're not either, but we will be. You can take it in the sense of being in love.

He's at our his new apartment in our college town, while I'm at home a hundred miles north. We're going on vacation together in a week, but after two weeks I feel desperately lost without him. We're two halves of the same person, and I'm not being metaphorical.
