Summary: Jared considers his fiances friends.
Notes: Another little story that sprang to mind while I was working on my NaNo. I expect a lot of that this month, so hopefully I'll be posting many little stories with this pairing!
If the measure of a man is his friends, then Jensen’s worth his weight in gold, or something more precious, platinum maybe.
His friends are a small, fiercely loyal bunch and Jared’s had his manhood threatened no less than seventeen times before their engagement dinner is half over with.
Jared knows he would never hurt Jensen, especially after the fifth warning from Chris Kane: that one particular mental image was still scarring him. Danneel had also promised serious tissue damage from her high heels if Jared ever left. Apparently, protecting Jensen and creative threats were the connecting themes of the group.
Jared’s a little afraid, but he’s more warmed by their caring and devotion. Because he can understand it completely. He accepted Jensen’s proposal so he’d be able to legally spend his life taking care of and protecting Jensen.
