the only benefit to all of the snow, is that the light reflecting off of the snow made it easier for me to see when I drove to Mandy and Travis's tonight to watch the Season 2 finale of Veronica Mars

What about getting rid of your land line and only paying for your cell phones? Is the $550 after the money you would save by not having Nora in daycare? Kay

You could always try to work part-time from home, like doing daycare yourself maybe? I am so bad at this kind of thing. And what about pre-school? Is there a pre-school program that Nora could go to, which would save you some on daycare? And I think you're on the right track with giving up cable and other non-necessities. If you have an memberships to things: ie, Netflix, cable, magazines, etc. you can always cancel those as well. It will all start to add up.

Do you guys have an Aldi near you? They have WAY cheaper groceries. Also... buying store brand saves A TON of money at your regular supermarket. And last but not least... if you eat out a lot... cut it down to once a week or less. Totally saves a TON of money.

And then you could always do like we did and go to a "one car family". But I don't reccommend it too much because it kinda sucks when I don't take Andrew to work and I'm stuck here all day with the kiddos and no way to go anywhere else. But it does save on insurance and stuff!!!

I know it's cold right now, and therefore not pleasant, but walking never hurt anybody, Kristi and I know Kay and I walked all over the place when we were kids. It also helps counter that whole childhood obesity thing - good habits early on and all that, which totally goes along with your breastfeeding!
And Sara, all will be okay.
