What to do with Spock's Cock?

Jul 18, 2011 15:32

So I was pondering the topic of my second, (no-longer-virgin) post, and I thought I'd present a small dilemma I have and see if any of my K/S friends have any suggestions...

I created a rather large, and fairly glittery entry for the "Spock's Cock" competition at KisCon 2011, and Yay! I won!

Given it was a prize-winner I proceeded to drag it around ( Read more... )

I thought it was sweet the way you lovingly carried it everywhere with you during our travels and can totally understand your reticence to ditch it unceremoniously when clearly a lot of love and thought went into making it.

My suggestion is that if...and it's still a big if...rhaegal and I end up doing a KiScon 2012 in London, then I think you should come to it and bring Spock's Gloriously Glittered Cock (with Bells, but alas, no Whistles) and present it as a prize for an as yet unthought of, but no doubt (given the way mine and rhaegal's minds work) devlishly riotous competition. :)

Well, it would certainly be the most well-traveled Gloriously Glittered Cock in all the land... I just hope customs wouldn't want to search my bags!

However, if you and Rhaegal do decide to do a London KiScon 2012, my green friend shall make the journey as mascot. Just as long as you find a place of honor for him to reside for the duration!

Perhaps a "Spock's Cock's Companion" competition?

A "Spock's Cock's Companion" sounds like a great idea. Who knows what Kirk's junk looks like - it could be as exotic as Spock's...

waves hello. I think the idea of giving it away at Kiscon 2012 is great. I've been sending odds and ends to the Fanzine Archives (tshirts, art and buttons/con badges). So far they've not screamed "for the love of all that's holy please stop."

of course it could be they haven't opened the boxes yet.

I think your masterpiece should come with you to London and we'll raffle it at KiScon 2012. :D

The Perky Pinky-Peach Companion (or PP-PC, as I will hereinafter refer to it) is a brilliant idea, especially at the next (in)appropriate convention you attend. I, for one, would do everything (in)humanly possible to attend such an event, both to thank you for allowing me to make a story around your art and to see the PP-PC and the GGC (Gloriously Glittered Cock, just to, er, clear up any confusion) in a Gloriously Gluttonous Concatenation of Penile Partnership (GGCcPP).

Short form: I'd love to see them together, and I doubt that I'm alone!

In other news, I've taken the liberty of friending you, and here's a link to the story I wrote around your piece "Older K&S". It was for the KiSMet zine, and your art is linked and credited:

He That Pricketh the Heart

If you'd prefer that I link to a different site, please tell me, and I shall do so as soon as I can. I hope that you don't mind the story too much.

Again, many thanks for your lovely work, and for your gracious permission to use it as inspiration,
Catherine
