Had to water the garden for the second time today because things were wilting. I guess I didn't do a good enough job this morning.

You probably watered enough, its just that everything wilts a little during the heat of day to conserve water. If the leaves are wilted first thing in the AM or right before dusk then they need more water.

OH Ok. Thank you. I got nervous because I didn't want to see them keeled over dead tomorrow without ever having bloomed.

Aren't they neat? I didn't realize they'd look dried out when they first bloomed. I can't wait to see how they are when they're fully opened. They're pretty tall too.

Hey, I think your straw flowers are bred from our native paper daisies - I think they took them back to Holland and tinkered with them or something - anyhow, yours are beautiful...and all your other flowers :)
