The iris that I saved from the side yard. I think that rather thyan try to overwinter in the pot I'm going to dig up a sedum and put this in its spot in the garden way far our of reach of the weed wacking maniacs. I am dying to know what color these will be when they flower.

I am SO coveting your hen and chicks! Many years ago I had some that my mom gave me, and I had them in a strawberry pot. Of course, I also had some in an old tin dishpan that had been my granny's. LOL

Just until I can find a spot for them in the yars where the weed wacker won't get them. If not for that I wouldn't have dug them out.
