I dunno about the rest of you pessimistic people but I enjoyed my valentine's day. Yeah I know it's a corporate holiday that was created to make money off of people who are guilty of not caring enough about the person they are supposed to love/deeply care about.
Not that I am guilty, I just need an excuse to have a good time
.
So the weather was shit and overall it was a horrible day for a commute, we ventured into NYC. As I said, the weather was horrible. We got to the city after about a 45 minutes of train delays. Quickly, we made our way to the Gershwin for our 2PM showing of WICKED! The place was amazing and sitting in row E in the center helped a lot when it came to actually seeing the show so nothing was missed. I doubt there's a bad seat in the place but I'll stick with saying I really enjoyed our seats.
WICKED = PHENOMENAL!
So then after that we walked a block and a half over to Ruth's Chris. For those of you who don't know, it's an orgasmic steakhouse. After a uh, decent sized bill, we walked around Times Square. Aside from the really bad snow/ice, it was great fun.
I had a great time and I wouldn't change anything other than the weather.
Good times.
