I feel inexplicably terrible. Do you ever feel like you're going to cry for no reason? This is very unusual for me. Gotta try not to cry in front of customers.
I chalk it up to a subtle build-up of stress or anxiety of some kind, you've been pushing yourself hard and it's probably your brain telling you that. I've been known to fix it with espresso or chocolate.
Since you're female, I'll politely say that it may also be hormone induced (no insult intended whatsoever).
Very likely all of the above. I very seldom get emotionally distraught when I'm hormonal. I hate when it happens. I don't like it when I show signs of typical "female weakness", especially since I'm almost always "the strong one". Emotional, sure, but always with-it, ya know? *sigh*
I feel a bit better now. I've noticed that the LJ Texting is extremely handy for spur-of-the-moment recording of feelings. When I got home, I might not have even made a post like this.
Mmm... caffeine buzz... it would feel nice right about now.
Nah. "That time of the month" is typically no big deal for me. If anything, it's a comforting reassurance that I'm not pregnant, something that REALLY doesn't need to happen right now. Still, there's no denying its subtle contribution to existing emotion. :)
Yep. Stress, it is. It tends to happen when you're working fulltime in a low-paying retail job, struggling to finish college, and trying to keep your head above water with the mountain of bills accumilated from paying for said college. :)
Most of the time, I manage just fine. Tonight was one of the rare occasions when I just didn't.
Ah, heck, too much to do and not enough time to do it, and no money either! And your time of month besides? Well, you can cry or you can strangle someone... But strangling someone lands you in jail unfortunately.... So tears are the only possible sane response.

Laughter might be as good an outlet as crying... or maybe both at the same time?
