So we're in Toronto

Aug 23, 2010 18:34

First impression: The Arrogant Worms are wrong.

After much wa(o)ndering, and unexpected assistance from random people on the tram, we are now lodged in a small hostel in Chinatown.
There is much tiredness, and much hunger, so anything further will wait.

Toronto sucks, and I say that knowing it well.

Also, it wasn't Arrogant Worms that sang that song, but rather Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. A common mistake, that I only found out after having gone to a Worms concert.

Let me know if you need any help with Toronto, I'll be happy to give you any info you need on the city.

I stand corrected about the Three Dead Trolls issue.
However, I can't possibly understand how you can say that a city that can offer me 21 degrees on 2PM in August sucks.

That aside,

Could you recommend some good tourist spots and book shops?

Because it can also offer you -40 degrees and four feet of snow from October through February.

I will get back to you on tourist spots and book shops, as well as geek stores. If you're downtown, then you're in the right place for all that stuff. Right now I have to pick up the girls from their mishpachton, so just message me to remind me.

Hmm.
I'd say that I prefer -40 degrees to 40 degrees, but I never actually tried the -40. still, I'd take August here over August in Beer Sheva any day (year?).

Also, This is a reminder about the book shops and geek stores :D
