Around the same time, my debit card expired and I didn't get my new one until a while later, so I pushed it off. actually, i think the necklace is beautiful. and i always thought of lockets as being sort of antique-y rather than childish... the kind of thing you find in someone's old attic with a story attached. sounds to me like a very good choice for a meaningful memento.

Bah,lockets are timeless and nostalgic. I don't think it makes you childish at all. I mean, people buy them for their sweethearts and whatnot and they can be elegant and classy, considering what kind they are.
