I was recently discussing hip hop slang on the porch with Taylor and Ed, when we all admitted to having no idea what the word "crunk" really means. I suspect we weren't the only ones.

I found the answer buried in a movie review in the most recent Independent Weekly"Hip hop with a distinct Southern accent--known as crunk--has been booming of late
