Just got back from the con. It was definitely in 'relax-a-con' territory, being basically a 'meet the guests' thing Friday night at the hotel, panels and such in two dozen rooms or so in a hall on the Virginia Tech campus on Saturday, and costume call and filking by White Plectrum in the evening. For various reasons, there will be no con on Sunday

Thanks. Luckily, the sweater arrived on Friday, thanks to Express Mail actually being, well, express. The one real problem is that I am, in pretty much all dimensions, scaled up a bit too much to do a really, really accurate recreation, but I can't do anything about most of those dimensions. I can get thinner, but I can't really become shorter. ;-)

That's the one advantage to doing a generic character at least. I can understand the worry of "Will it get here in time". n_n

You're too modest. While you may never be mistaken for Sylvester McCoy, you've got a great look for the costume, unlike my Fourth Doctor appearance at Farpoint where Tom Baker had suddenly acquired straight, greying hair and a beard! Gratz on your prize! (I posted a couple of pics of you to my Facebook, btw.)
