My music performance tutor plays the theremin.

At one point last year, when non of our band showed up to final rehersal and we realised we only had 2 songs providing they actually showed up for the gig.. he and i, alone, made an experimental jazz piece involving him wah-wahing away on his theremin while kicking the bass drum...
and me playing random chords while reading the back of a bleach bottle in an R.P accent.

....if i wasn't a fan of the surreal i would have cried.
