Neal raised a hand to shade his eyes and looked out at the horizon. Far beyond the point where the skies met the sea, out across the Atlantic, was New York. He couldn't see it, but he could feel his heart drawn to it.
If he could, he'd take out a boat and row out there. It was only three thousand miles, give or take.
Mozzie had promised him one last score. The big whale they've been after all those years.
Mozzie had delivered.
So how come he felt that he'd give everything to have what he had back there?
