So I've come down with some sort of crazy virus, that gives me a fever, and a sore throat and some sort of mucous congestion an all together yucky sensation... no one needed to know that but anyways

i lost my "innocence" early on in life. I knew to much, had seen too much, and had been through too much not to. But I can totally understand what you mean.

And the answer to all your questions is: When we let ourselves. No one can take anything away from us unless we let them. You have to want wonder, and want excitedness, and want love. They arent things that just magically happen.
