Well, last week my closest colleague, the person who contacted me last spring about this job, left the company last week. She made her official announcement in Friday’s meeting (there was only 1 person who didn’t know already) and then packed up the last of her personal stuff (she’d been moving it out little-by-little for a couple weeks
