computer issues........

and boy do I have them. Running windows xp home, and i can't get it to boot. i really, really, really, need someone with some kind of knowledge and computer brains (which isn't me!). I've tried Mark S. and he tells me it won't be for 3 or 4 weeks till he can look at it, and that means maybe 6 or 7 in real life. Now I can live without my computer

It was awesome, except the restaurant that we were going to eat at was closed for the turkey holiday, a day earlier than they told us last week they would be. But it was a nice day for me.

Can't help much with the troubleshooting, but I do have a copy of XP (Pro, but I didn't notice much difference as a casual user) if you have a need.
