Last night I watched Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009) with Richard Gere and Jason Alexander on DVD.  This story is a real tear-jerker.  I cried buckets.  But the movie was well done.  They didn't take it over the top.  I'm glad I watched it.  I gave it five out of five stars on the Netflix website.

This morning the blossom petals on the Mystery Tree were falling like pale pink snow -- or tears.

I think the Mystery Tree is some kind of cherry tree.

Oh, no!!  I love almonds!!  I thought things were getting better with the "colony collapse disorder" problem but I guess not.

I now have 54,600 HomeScan points.  I need 55,000 points to get the cookware set I want.  I'm almost there!

Only they are not called HomeScan anymore.  They changed their name to "The National Consumer Panel".  I liked HomeScan better.  It was shorter.

It's official.  I got my termination paperwork today.  As expected, my last day will be April 30th.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- General Motors' deal to sell its Hummer brand to a Chinese automaker fell through Wednesday and the company said it now plans to shut down the brand.

Last night we watched two movies.  We watched Serenity "The Firefly Movie" (2005) on TV.  It had been edited to fit the time slot and there were several scenes that I noticed were cut or missing.
