(no subject)
So I'm now working full time again. Back at the moving company until I get a job in my career field. Makin' more than 10 an hr so that's really nice. Should actually get a pay raise soon. If I get my class B CDL (Commercial Drivers License) I would get another raise. I stopped all contact w/ the Ex. It's for the best and I'll leave it at that.
Today though was a pretty decent day. Granted, I moved 20,000 lbs myself. As in, I, Tyler, moved 20k lbs worth of furniture and other household goods on my own from crates to the warehouse floor. Then after that was done I helped load a truck for specialized deliveries that is mostly industrial and commerical goods. Was then asked by a co-worker to jump on a truck with him and deliver furniture to a household in Cedar Rapids that some other co-workers had "forgotten" to deliver to.
Best part though was the fact that I was able to meet up with a friend and wander the mall and exchange then purchase some cool shizzle. Got 3 CDs, Ladytron, Super Furry Animals, and Rilo Kiley, a new shirt, and after I dropped my friend off at her house she loaned me a buttload of books to read. So that made it a great day for me.
