“This is What it Means to Say Phoenix, Arizona” is a short story about two Indian men, Victor and Thomas, who live on a reservation together up north. Early in the story Victor finds out that his father has passed away in Arizona and he needs to go claim his body. This is not easy for an Indian living on a reservation. He has no money to himself
