Reading Shakespeare is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do regarding literature, and even though I have had to do it a lot through high school and college it has never gotten easier. I find it not only difficult to understand individual words, but it can be hard to grasp entire scenes sometimes. The language of the times is so different

it is hard for everyone to read Shakespeare's writing. It is frustrating because it takes so long to read.

Actually, the problem is not how long it is, its the way its written. It is definitely not written in the way we talk.
