I liked having Cruise Control... but I decided I'd listen to my recall notice that said even if the truck was off, and just sitting in a parking spot it could burst into flames... so no more cruise control for me... and I like Captain Sidney Freidman, I haven't met him yet, but I already think he's my fav. of your tattoos... and you can't do anything about that...

We got a recall notice like that too - we parked our truck on the street until we could take it to a dealership for a free part swap.

Is cruise control really cheaper to get with the car? I know some things (at least including stereos, nav systems, and even floor mats) are significantly cheaper and/or higher quality/featured if you buy them aftermarket. After you posted on FB I looked into aftermarket cruise control a little and apparently most cars are wired for it, and they just don’t attach the doodad(s) to said wires.

Good idea to get the tat’s in places you can cover. I think the marines had a rule that you could only get tattoos that would be covered while wearing pt gear (t-shirt and shorts. Don’t know if socks count too.) which actually seems like a pretty decent rule of thumb to me. I’ve always wanted a tattoo too, either a red or green dragon on my shoulder or bicep.

Yeah, LJ isn't seeing a lot of action, for sure.

As for the tattoo- I love the artist I'm working with now, he's really great. He seems to get what I want really well, and he's ok with the nitpicky little things- because, lets face it, if it's going permanently into my skin, I want it to be as close to perfect as possible!
