My fiance swears by total immersion. He's training to cross the English channel, and the Total Immersion system has changed his stroke, taken him down (well, that and a lot of work!) from 1 mile = 1 hour to 1 mile = about 40 mins, and he can do 2 or 3 miles regularly. He swims 6 days a week, and no injuries & no burnout.

You may want to go give him a "howdy" and tell him I sent you. He's username toxins, and would probably be up with talking swimming, tho he doesn't have a ton of time these days with work picking up.

Wow! Thank you. I will talk to him.

Of all 3 triathlon sports, I enjoy swimming the most. I usually feel drained after running, but I feel energized and like a firecracker after swimming. Would love to swim 6 days a week.
