I hope life going better than mine right now! My parents are bugging the crap outta me. It seems like they want a million things done, and i try to do them and either seem to try and fail, or can't get around to them because i'm really busy. During the mission trip we were priviledged to see some fruit from the efforts we put forward. But at the same time, we hoped that there would be more fruit to come. So far life in the states is just as i left it... busy! I've worked 3 out of the 4 days for about 6 hours at the chicken coop, and did 2.5 hours of work at a person's house doing yard work. When i returned home, it really hit me... I only have just over a month to get ready to my half-iron man in August... I should really start getting more ( Read more... )

Our last day of minister in the schools was yesterday. It ws kin of depressing to thing that i will never see these people agian. It's really sad to see these kids, who really need the lord and have lives that are so messed, and just leave them here. Yesterday was amazing! The classes went really well. We were invited to go to anohter school in the area. I was in 4 out of the 5 classes out of the day... 2 at Keiper and 2 at Hutton (sp?). The second class really responded well to the straw presentation and asked some really good questions. One of them connected one of the things i talked ( Read more... )

This morning, i hada really tough time getting up. I went to bed around 11:45 and got up at 5:45. The alarm went off for me to go running for about an hour... and i almost fell back to sleep. I got reaady to go and ended up having to run in the rain... but it was nice, b/c it keeps me cool when i run. I ran into durham and back. It is so cool ( Read more... )
