Now if they would just do something about the officals from that last game. I caught part of the Preds game last night, and you are right; they did look tired. And I don't think that the Wild is going to be able to play at the same level as they did in the last game.
I agree, that is high intensity level to play at for 4 games straight. Hell if they come out of Anaheim tonight with W that will be a big step for them.
NHL will not do anything to the officials of any game. At worst, those officials will simply not work the same games together. Realistically, no one will do or say anything to the officials. At least nothing public...
IMO, May getting suspended for three games means a couple of things. A) It means the league is willing to do something, but not enough... the guy is a flagrant repeat offender (and was the one who lead to Bertuzzi's major penalty/suspension a few years back). B) 3 games is exactly how many the Wild need to win... so maybe even the NHL is expecting a shocking finish to the series.
