I...don't...even know how this fic worked so well, it just does o.o; It figures that their first chance meeting has Belarus holding a knife against Mattie's throat, doesn't it? I don't know how well they would work romantically (in the long term) but I do think they would make rather nice friends. I'm trying to work on some characterization for Belarus in my mind so this was a nice read. Thanks!

Yeah, a long term relationship would definitely not work, but I think of them as helping each other; Belarus helps Canada man up, and Canada helps her move on from Russia.

Thank you for reading! I always thought Belarus deserved more credit than a crazy stalker... Still knife-happy, yes, but definitely a smart and strong woman. She's just... distracted by her brother.

I will be writing more one-shots of her interacting with different nations, working on her character in such. I might write more BelCan, but we'll see. (Yup, she totally wears the pants :3)
