Oh man! I was NOT expecting it to end like that. I've always thought that after school Harry would've worked out that Ron & Hermione were there for him no matter what the circumstances. But you convinced me that indeed after such a life-changing event, it may be possible that Harry would have to find himself and redefine his even most essential relationships on his own terms.

Wonderfully written with a lovely Ron-voice. Well done!

I think Harry could go either way - he's had such a tough life, and has been alternately put on a pedestal and treated as a criminal (often for the same things) so I think, after it's All Over, he would have a hard time redefining himself. The poem came to my mind right away when I was debating possible plots, which then determined which way Harry would turn for this particular story. And thank you - I took the time to write down all of Ron's personality characteristics (as I see them) and tried to take them into consideration as I wrote. Glad it worked for you. ♥

So bittersweet and sad and hopeful at the same time. You want Harry to find himself, and you want Ron to be there for him still when he does, and you hope they'll be together again once it happens.

And I loved your Ron here.

That was lovely. And it hurt, but not harshly so - I think because there's the hint of hope.
