Ellie ran into her room, grabbed her journal, and flung herself on her bed, trying to hold back the tears.

Siva looked into Ellie's room and ran to her side. She pushed her hair out of herface. "What's wrong?!"

Ellie started to get up and wipe her tears, but when she finally started to sit up, she just collapsed onto Siva's lap.
"Oh, Siva. It's Jack! I miss him so much! When Jay sent me to the Techno camp, I was scared, but I knew Id be alright with Jack there. And when I escaped, seeing Jack again was the only thing that kept me going. And now...I've just lost all hope in ever seeing him again. I'm gonna be alone forever, I just know it! I am never going to meet anyone like Jack again."

Siva rocked Ellie in her arms and rubbed her back. "Ellie, it's ok. Get it all out. I knew something was bothering the moment I saw you." She closed her eyes. "Jack...Jack will return, you'll see. You are not going to be alone. You are never going to be alone."

Ellie started to get up again, but this time she was able to sit up next to Siva. She started to wipe away her tears, and take deep breaths to calm herself down. "Thanks Siva, I'm so lucky to have a friend like you. I think I'm okay now, though. I hope your right, I really do. Id give ANYTHING to see Jack again. But look at me, I'm such a mess." She faked a laugh as she got up and went to her mirror. She tried to fix herself up as she continued, trying to change the subject. "I'm sorry I put you through this Siva. I made a mess of your clothes, and I'm being completely selfish. How are things with Lex, have you guys talked yet?"
