Mouse's Room: Mouse, Flower

Jan 11, 2005 15:42

Mouse walked with Flower down the hallway that led to her room, away from the Main Cafe. As they walked, Mouse pointed out the rooms to their side, "There's Cloe and Ved's room." Turning, she pointed at the broken railing bit. "You have to watch out for that. And if Brady is around, we generally hold her hand and stuff because its dangerous." They ( Read more... )

Flower peered into each room as they passed the doorways, trying to see inside of them. Most of them had strange doorways, you could tell the room twisted to one side, so you couldn't see into them. Oh well, no mind, she could check them out later, maybe Mouse would show her. Her eyes turned on the broken railing, she'd been wondering about that, "How'd that happen anyway? And why don't no one fix it ( ... )

"I have lots of stuffed animals." Mouse said, proudly, "But Stinky is my favorite because I've had it the longest and... besides, its neat." She grinned, and then giggled. It was so fun to be able to share this stuff with someone besides Brady. Mouse blushed when Flower said she was lucky. She sometimes forgot how fortunate she was to have all she did. There were tons of kids outside of the mall who didn't have nearly as much stuff as she did. "Well, until you get some of your own, we can share all this." Mouse said, spreading her arms wide to encompass it all ( ... )

As Mouse offered to share it all with Flower and opened her arms wide, Flower flew into her and hugged her tight, "Thank you! That's so nice, oh gosh, I've never been so happy in my life, this is amazing!" Flower let go of her and giggled, her shoulders scrunching up as she covered her mouth, her eyes sparkling. It was great living here, and if Mommy and Daddy would get her as many toys as Mouse had, they'd never be bored ever ever ever ( ... )

It still confused Mouse a little when Flower refered to Ryan and Salene as Mommy and Daddy. She looked down at the cards that Flower flipped over. "You got an apple and a jack-in-the-box." Mouse said, looking at the pictures on the card. "Now you flip those both over and its my turn to go." Reaching out, she flipped the cards back over and reached out for two of her own. The pictures on her's was of a whale and an apple. Mouse grinned.

"See, here is the point of memory, if you can remember where the other apple is, you can get the pair." Nodding her head, Mouse reached and flipped the cards back down again and shrugged her shoulders. "Its fun, see..." Her mind was on other things though. She'd never thought to ask Salene about the whaling trips. But right now there was too much going on and Salene was really busy with the wedding. Mouse promised herself that tomorrow when things had quieted down, she'd talk to Salene about it. She turned her thoughts back to the game, "Your turn."

Flower waved it all off, "Trust me, Daddy won't mind. I mean, really, how much do they care about an ugly necklace no one would want?" Flower scrunched up her face and rolled her eyes a little. Mouse was really worried about it, Flower didn't really understand that, did that mean that Mommy was a really strict, or mean Mommy ( ... )

Mouse finally just shrugged her shoulder. "I suppose it really wouldn't be a big deal. I mean, there are a ton of necklaces in there." She smiled at Flower, "I'm excited, I love learning new games." And it got her mind off missing Charlie. Though she still thought about him, she hadn't actaully talked about him in a long while. Reaching out she turned over both Jack in the Boxes and picked them up, setting the two cardboard squares next to her leg, she looked at Flower. "I finally got a match!" Deftly, she turned over a beach ball and a clock. "No match." Mouse wasn't really bummed, she played the game all by herself a lot, and it was more exciting to just have someone to play against ( ... )

Flower pouted as Mouse got her jack in the boxes, "Darn," she said mostly under her breath. Oh well, that was fine, there were lots more cards left, and now she could stop focusing on those stupid jacks. Turning over a phone and a ball, she sighed, there was the other match to another set of cards, maybe Mouse didn't remember. Flower turned them back over and looked up at Mouse with a wary look ( ... )

Mouse saw the other ball pop up and wondered if it was polite to pick the two peices up, Flower looked a little upset that Mouse got the jack in the boxes. Looking up as she reached for a peice, Mouse took the one next to the ball and flipped it over. The picture was a cloud, and the second one she grabbed was a box with its lid open. Shrugging, she flipped the peices back over. "I like the picture of the cloud." She said, after she'd flipped it back over. "Whenever I draw, I put clouds in because they are fun to draw." Mouse bobbed her head, "What do you usually draw ( ... )
